Rick Eggers

Rick Eggers, 55, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center in Marshalltown. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2013, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family. Eggers was born on July 24, 1958, in Arizona; he was the son of Arnold and Mary Jane (Kenner) Eggers. He served our country in the United States Marines. On May 7, 1999, Rick was united in marriage to Wendy Reisinger in Marshalltown, Iowa, and they resided in Marshalltown. Rick worked at JBS for 20 plus years. He was a member of the Local Union, UFCW, board member of the Dog Park Committee, and a member of the Heart of Iowa Kennel Club. Rick enjoyed fishing, racing, campfires, and his dogs. Left to cherish his memory is his wife and best friend, Wendy, of Marshalltown, Iowa. Children: Jason (Kadie) McMohon of Aurora, Minnesota, Mike N.(Jordon) Webber of Marshalltown, Iowa. Grandchildren: Trenton, Tommy, Jadyn, Calib and Hailey; brother, Todd (Lisa) Eggers of Minnesota. In death he rejoins his parents, Arnold and Mary Jane; brother, Tony Lee; and his grandparents.
