Ricky Courter

Ricky Lynn Courter 03/15/1961 - 10/29/2020 Rick left this earth surrounded by the love of family and friends at home. Per his wishes, he has entrusted Mitchell Family Funeral Home with his cremation. Rick was the most generous, amazing son, father, father-in-law, spouse, grandpa, stepfather, brother uncle and best friend anyone could ask for.  He loved spoiling his grandsons and they were his “best medicine.” Left to cherish his memory: spouse and soulmate Brenda Angell, son Josh (Amber) Courter, grandsons Gavin and Landry Courter, stepchildren Ceslie Ozbun and Cole Ozbun, mother Betty Courter, brother Randy (Valerie) Courter, sister Pam Little, nieces, nephews and extended family members. He is preceded in death by his father Marvin “Ike” Courter and grandparents. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.  A memorial bench will be placed at Twin Anchors Campground, Colo, IA.   Lovingly written by the family.
