Robert Bradshaw

Robert Bob Thomas Bradshaw, 63, of Marshalltown, passed away at Iowa Methodist Hospital on Monday, August 31, 2015. A Memorial Service will be held for Bob at 1:30 p.m., on Sunday, September 6, 2015, at The Connection Church (1501 S. 17th Avenue), Marshalltown, Iowa. Cremation Rites have been accorded. Bob was born on May 10, 1952. He was raised in Maryland and migrated to Marshalltown 20 years ago. He met Vicky Elaine Duffy soon after arriving in Marshalltown and the two remained together until his passing. Over the years Bob worked in housekeeping for area motels including the Executive Inn. Bob enjoyed riding his bike and was well known around Marshalltown as he made friends everywhere he went. Bob was especially fond of potluck dinners and loved donuts! Bob was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by Vickie Duffy, his life-long companion; two step children: Tammy Kyles and Terry Simmons; step-grandchildren, Jessica Finger (Cipriano Olnedo), Cody (Jennifer) Finger, Landon Finger, Francisco Padilla, step great-grand children, Edwin Christiano, Juan, Jesus, Drew and his church family. Bobs legacy will live on as he was an organ donor.
