Robert Brooks, 85, of Waterloo, died early Monday morning, November 22nd, at the Allen Hospital in Waterloo.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 26th, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Born on March 31st, 1925, in Marshalltown, he was the son of Floyd and Leah (Early) Brooks. He received his education in Marshalltown and was raised by Mrs. Rhodes until he moved to Waterloo at a young age. In Waterloo, Bob was employed in foundry work. He is survived by his only sister, Shirley (Fred) Naylor of LeGrand, four nieces and one nephew as well as his family at the Parkview Nursing Home in Waterloo. In death, he rejoined his parents and caregiver Mrs. Rhodes.
