Robert Bob Conner, 82, of Marshalltown, died early Tuesday morning at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 1st, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Born Robert Henry Conner on November 7th, 1927, at Nevada, Iowa, he was the son and one of five children born to Elmer and Blanche (Bovee) Conner. He received his education in the Spring Valley School south of Marshalltown. Bob was employed for 28 years at M. Gervich and Sons until retiring in 1990. He will be fondly remembered for his love of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, playing cards, watching wrestling and NASCAR, his 1976 Ford Truck and very dearly loved his God children. Left to cherish his memory is his loving companion and best friend of 36 years, Margaret Ingledue. Also surviving are his brother - Don Conner, daughter - Deanna and many friends. In death, Bob rejoined his parents, twin sister Ruth Davis, sister Betty Devick and brother Alfred Conner.
