Robert William Cope, 66, of Marshalltown, died Friday, April 10th, 2009, at home while under the care of Iowa River Hospice. A graveside remembrance will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15th, 2009, at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Robert was born in Marshalltown to Archie and Dorothy (Curson) Cope. He went to high school in Marshalltown, Iowa, and then joined the Army and later retiring from GTE. He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses, and gardening. In death, he rejoins his parents and 2 brothers.
