Robert D. Bob Dishner, 83, of Marshalltown, died in the peace of his home on Tuesday, September 9th. Funeral services and interment rites will be held in Princeton, West Virginia. Born on May 25th, 1931, in West Virginia, he was the son of Jeff and Gladys (Davis) Dishner. He attended school in West Virginia and later served our country honorably in the United States Navy for 4 years. On November 8th, 1958, he was united in marriage to Cosbie Kinser in Virginia. They made their home in Marshalltown where he was employed at Marshalltown Instruments until its closing. Bob always enjoyed a day golfing, helping others and remained dedicated to his loving wife Cosbie until her passing. Bob never knew a stranger. Left to cherish his memory are many in his life that loved him much- sister-in-law Althea (Dean) Eubanks of Marshalltown and their son Chad (Tina) Eubanks, brother-in-law Dillard (Jerry) Kinser of Little Rock, AR, his siblings back home in West Virginia Lynn (Loma) Dishner, Shelby Dishner, Phyllis (Sonny) Thomason, Debbie (Steve) Thorn, sister-in-law Pat Dishner and brother-in-law Dasil Kinser as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In death, Bob rejoined his beloved Cosbie, three brothers and one sister.
