Robert Bob Edwards, 55, of Marshalltown, died Friday afternoon, January 6th, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Born on November 12, 1956, in Harriman, Tennessee, he was the son of Robert Lee and Sabilla Pearl (Gibson) Edwards, Sr. He graduated from the South Tama High Schools Class of 1976. Soon after, he married his longtime sweetheart, Debra Edwards. They made their home in Marshalltown. Bob was employed in Grundy Center at Richelieu Foods making salad dressings. He enjoyed football, NASCAR, the Iowa Hawkeyes, Miami Dolphins, wrestling and his grandchildren. Left to mourn his loss are his loving wife Debra, his children; Crystal Ann Edwards, Heather Lynn Edwards and Tammy Jean Edwards, grandchildren; Hailey, Brianna and Brandon and siblings - Deborah (Tony) Smith of Montour, John (Busandra) Edwards of Milton, Pennsylvania, Kathy Lynn (Eric) Cline of Malcolm and Steven Wayne (Jamie) Edwards of Tama as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In death, Bob rejoined his parents and grandparents.
