Robert Powers, 71, of Baxter, died Saturday, May 23, 2009, on the Monarch Wing at Skiff Hospital in Newton, Iowa. Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services held. Burial will be in Rock Island Arsenal at a future date. Condolences may be left at www.mitchellfh.com. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home has been caring for Robert and his family. Phone 641-844-1234
