Robert G. Schons, 73, of Marshalltown, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Unity Point in Marshalltown. Graveside services for Bob will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown. Memorials may be directed to the family. Robert Schons was born on December 4, 1948 in Cedar Falls, Iowa to Leroy and Margaret (Frederiksen) Schons. Robert served his country honorably in the United States Army. On April 4, 1995, Robert was united in marriage to Margaret Sisson in Conway, Arkansas. Robert is survived by his step children: Darrell Erlewine of Marshalltown and Roger Fox of Germany and four sisters. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, parents and a brother.
