Robert Walton Bob Wilson, Jr., 54, of Marshalltown, died Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at his home while under the care of his loving family and Iowa River Hospice.Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2008 at Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Reverend Dale Batchler officiating. Ph 641-844-1234.Bob was born on February 12, 1954, in Hampton, the son of Robert W. and Paulline (Mueller) Wilson, Sr. He was raised and educated in the Fort Dodge area. He graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 1972 and then attended Iowa Central Community College, where he graduated with a degree in computer-aided drafting in 1974. He later earned a B.A. degree in Management Information Systems in 1994 from Buena Vista College. On June 13, 1991, Bob was united in marriage to Janna Coleman Hill in Marshalltown. They have made their home in Marshalltown, where Bob was employed at Fisher Controls until retiring in 2001 due to declining health. Bob was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marshalltown and Promise Keepers.Left to celebrate his life are his wife, Janna, of Marshalltown; his step-children, Kalee Hill of Des Moines, and Kalees twin brother, Keavin Kip(Natalie) Hill of Richlands, NC, formerly of Marshalltown; one grandson, Nicholas Weller of Ohio, one granddaughter, Hanna Hill; his sons, Robert W. Wilson III and Jared Wilson of Ruskin, FL; his brother, Glen W.(Pat Diehl)Wilson of Third Lake, IL; his cousin, Donna Kay Wherry of Banning, CA; his mother-in-law, Alma Rogers of Marshalltown; his sister-in-law, Linda(Calvin) Woosley of Beaman; his two brothers-in-law, David Coleman of Plano, TX, and Rick(Robin) Coleman of Lansing, KS, and several nieces and nephews.In death, Bob has rejoined his parents, his grandparents, and his father-in-law, Richard Rogers.
