Roberta Kea Paul

Roberta Kea Paul, 78, of Marshalltown, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Roberta and her family. Roberta Paul was born on February 16, 1941 in St Louis, Missouri to Earl and Maxine (Allan) Irvine. Roberta graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1959 and attended Drake University for a short time. In 1960, Roberta was united in marriage to James Paul in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Roberta had various jobs, but most recently retired as a manager at Manpower. She enjoyed playing bridge and other card games, crafts, knitting and studying history and genealogy. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren that would spend the summers and weekends with her. Roberta is survived by her husband of 59 years, James; son: Christopher (Karen) Paul of Waterloo; grandchildren: Jordan (Derek) Hansen and Wilson Paul; great grandchildren: Piper Wilson and Duke Hansen; brother in law, Gordon Eurom; sister in law, Pam (Mike) Ford and nieces: Dena Ryner and Dawn Ryner. Roberta is preceded in death by her parents; step father, Sid Cotton; sister, Janet Eurom; aunt, Anna Mae (Wendell) Allan and brother in law, Larry Ryner.
