Robin Bader, 51, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at Central Iowa Healthcare in Marshalltown, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December, 31, 2016, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be from 5:30 until the service starts at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the funeral home in memory of Robin. Robin Ann Bader was born on September 20, 1965, in St. Louis, Missouri; she was the daughter of Victoria Martin. She attended school at Roosevelt High School in St Louis. On June 12, 2010, Robin was united in marriage to Harold Lathrop. Robin has lived in Marshalltown for the past 21 years. She enjoyed a good walk, watching Ghost Adventures with her oldest granddaughter, and was always reading a good book and enjoyed all the time she could spend with her kids and grandkids. Robin enjoyed being on the back of a Harley with her younger childrens father, Eric Sloppy. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jorie Bader( son-in-law, Kevin Lang), Eric Sloppy and Megan Sloppy, all of Marshalltown, Iowa; grandchildren, OliviAna Bader, Jazalin Bader and Ashanti Bader-Lang; and sister, Stacy Simmons, of Foley, Alabama and nieces, Elizabeth Simmons and Savahanna Godfrey. In death Robin rejoins her mom.
