Rollie Luethje

Rollyn B. Rollie Luethje, 52, of Marshalltown, died Thursday, April 23rd, at his home. A memorial service celebrating his life and honoring his memory will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 27th, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. There will be no visitation. Born on November 19th, 1956, in Marshalltown, he was the son of Richard and Yvonne (Groth) Luethje. He attended school in Marshalltown and participated in the MHS Class of 1973. On October 15th, 1983, at St. Marys Catholic Church, he was united in marriage to Patricia Robb. They made their home in Marshalltown all of their married lives where he was employed in bar management Mom and Dads, the Pastime and one in Melbourne. Rollie enjoyed collecting many things from old tools to lighters, hats and beer steins. He loved his family and they all loved him. Left to cherish his memory are Pat, his loving wife of 25 years, children: Chris (Sandra) Robb and their daughters Emily and Hailey all of Lyles, TN, Sarah (Clyde) Kennedy, III of BonAqua, TN, his brothers Randy and Ricky both of Sylvia, NC, sister Kathy Luethje of Marshalltown, father and mother-in-law Gene and Eleanor Robb of Marshalltown, his in-laws: Nancy Zitzow of Des Moines, Sandy Robb of Eldora, Phil Robb of BonAqua, TN, Mary Robb (Jeff Lippincott) of Marshalltown and Jennifer Robb (Tracy Hatcher) of Marshalltown, 11 nephews, three nieces and a ton of friends. In death Rollie has rejoined his parents.
