Ronald Brown

Ronald Virgil Brown, 81, of Marshalltown, passed away on the morning of Monday, June 3, 2024 at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown.

Ronald Brown was born on December 7, 1942 in Peoria, Illinois. He was the son of Clarence and Ruby Brown. Ron graduated from Galesburg High School. On May 12, 1969, Ron was united in marriage to Kathy Aboud in Omaha, Nebraska. Ron had worked in auto body and fixed and restored vehicles, along with classy cars. He also worked at Lennox for nineteen plus years as a group leader. Ron was a member of the Teamsters and Steelworkers groups in Chicago, and a member of the Legion Riders in Marshalltown. He enjoyed restoring old cars, riding his Harley and spending time with his grandchildren.

Ron is survived by his children: Todd (Mandy) Brown of Melbourne, Mark (Leslie) Brown of Melbourne and Monica (Robert) Roby of Bettendorf and grandchildren: Taylor, Tia, Makayla and Miranda.

Ron is preceded in death by his wife, Kathy and parents: Clarence and Ruby.
