Ronald Allen Doser

Ronald Allen Doser, 52, of Melbourne, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown.

A Memorial service for Ron will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Visitation will take place prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be directed to the family. Ronald Doser was born on November 29, 1971 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was the son of James and LaDonna “Kay” (Weikert) Doser. Ron graduated from West Marshall High School in 1990 and attended Ellsworth Community College, receiving his Associates Degree. Ron was united in marriage to Meagan Kouba on July 7, 2001 at the LeGrand Friends Church. Ron had been a pallet worker and forklift operator for SNT Trucking since the late 90’s. He enjoyed hunting, going to garage sales, walking and lifting weights. He also liked to watch monster movies and professional wrestling, as well as duck hunting and music videos on YouTube. Ron collected comic book character figurines, specific football player jerseys, sports cards and hats. He was also an avid animal lover and enjoyed playing video games with family.

Ron is survived by his wife of twenty-three years: Meagan; children: Rina Doser and Brody Doser of Melbourne; and siblings: Katie Doser of Keokuk, Kelly Harding of Melbourne, Gary Harding of Baxter, Kevin (Ashleigh) Doser of Clemons and Niki (Steven) Ayers of Rhodes. He was also survived by his in-laws, Daniel and Kathy Kouba; sister-in-law, Stacey Thrift of Marion; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents, James and LaDonna; his grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.
