Ronald Mckeever

Ronald Earl McKeever, 64, of Marshalltown, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at his home in Marshalltown. Cremation rites have been accorded and there are currently no services scheduled. Ronald McKeever was born on June 16, 1952 in Newton to Robert E. and Donna L. Ferrell McKeever. He graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1969. After high school; Ron received his Criminal Justice degree from Kirkwood Community College. Ron was an avid dirt track racing fan and loved to hear the thunderous roar the cars made. The smile that came across his face while he was at races was priceless. If Ron wasn't at the racetrack he was spending time with his brother Jon and his nephews at the bowling alley. Ron loved his family deeply and passionately and would do anything for them. He will be greatly missed. Ron is survived by his children: Jacey (Brent) Drollinger of Tipton, Jennifer (John) Goodman of Washington, Iowa, Brandon (Kiley) McKeever of Lawrence, Kansas and Britt McKeever of Lawrence, Kansas. Grandchildren: Zach, Christian, Rachael, Chelsea, Taylor, Melissa, Megan, Eloise, Lillian, Cody and Mitchell. He is also survived by his siblings: Charley (Jan) McKeever of Le Grand, Jon (Kim) McKeever of Marshalltown and Dave (Jean) McKeever of Machesney Park, Illinois. Ron is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Donna and his step father Ken Osterhoudt.
