Ronnie Brown Sr., 75, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on the evening of March 3, 2022 at Unity Point Health Marshalltown Surrounded by his family. Ronnie Keith Brown was born July 2, 1946. He was adopted by parents William “Bill” and Myrtle (Dodge) Brown. Ronnie attended school in Marshalltown, Iowa and graduated from Marshalltown High School. After graduation, Ronnie enlisted in the United States Navy where he served his country and was later honorably discharged. Following his time in the service he began a family raising his five children. Ronnie worked for a trucking company and drove for a number of years helping to carry agricultural products where they needed to get to. During this time, Ronnie drove a taxi cab around town and operated his own towing business. In his free time, Ronnie enjoyed working on classic cars, going on camping trips and spending time with his family. He was a simple man and was always willing to help out anybody that needed his help. Those left to remember and cherish his memory are his daughter, Sonya (John) Fry; his grandchildren, Christina Williams, Michael Williams, John Fry III, Kami Wallace and Ciarra Fry; his 10 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Gail Ingebritson and Gordon Brown; alongside his many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Myrtle Brown; his children Kimberly Brown, Ronnie David Brown, Robin Williams, and Ronnie Keith Jr.; his sister Beverly Balderas; and his granddaughter Angel Williams.
