Ronnie Schoenhut-Essmann Roe passed away in the comfort of his home on Thursday October 13, 2016. A private family service will be held. Ronnie was born on November 2, 1971 in Iowa City, Iowa. He was a very happy young man and always loved going out of his way to help anyone in need as a child. Ronnie was a caring person that would give anyone the shirt off of his back. That helping mentality carried over into his adulthood. Ronnie was a very spiritual in the Wiccan Religion and learned many things about nature and how he wanted to live his life through the practices. Ronnie was a family man and enjoyed every time he had the opportunity to spend time with his family and friends. Left to cherish Ronnies memory are his Mother Sherry (Russell) Roe, Brothers Daniel (Arriel) Roe, Jason Schoenhut, and Josh Schoenhut, step-children Jeb and Adrienne Essmann, grandson Ravi Essmann and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and many friends. Ronnie is preceded in death by his husband of 8 years Larry Essmann, and grandparents Majorie Morrison, Amos and Josie Roe.
