Rosanne Jenkins

Rosanne Jenkins, 63, of Marshalltown, the familiar and smiling face who greeted customers at Alley Automotive, passed from this life on Thursday, March 16th, at the Iowa River Hospice Home. A memorial gathering, which all are invited to attend, will be held this Sunday, March 19th, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Marshalltown Learning Academy located at 1002 South 3rd Avenue, in Marshalltown. Born Rosanne Ervin on February 27th, 1954, in Chicago Heights, IL, she was the daughter of Robert C. and LaVerne D. (Schroeder) Ervin. She graduated high school in Miami, FL and attended Texas A&M. Rose was employed as a service writer at Alley Automotive in Marshalltown. Even though her roots were not of Iowa, she was a faithful and devoted Iowa Hawkeye. She enjoyed listening to classic rock, traveling, gardening, and loved animals. She was blessed to be a Jill of All Trades. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Jon Jenkins (Natalie Robinson) and Jake Jenkins, her brother John (Carol) Ervin, and nieces Marissa (Rich) Wilson and Ashley (Brian) Golen, as well as her co-workers and many friends.
