Rose Schult

Rose Schult, 80, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014, at Grandview Heights Rehab and Healthcare. Conjoined funeral services for Rose and her son, Terry, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2014, at Seventh Day Adventist Church in Marshalltown, Iowa. Public visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home where their family will be present to greet friends. Rose Eastman was born on January 18, 1934, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Glen and Dorothy Eastman. With faith being a foundation of her life, she began her education in the Seventh Day Adventist schools, attending the Oak Park Academy in Nevada, Iowa. Rose was united in marriage to Alfred E. Moore, Jr. on August 8, in Marshalltown, Iowa. From this union three sons were born: Glenn, Alfred, and Terry Moore. After Alfred passed away Rose married Ray Schult on April 10, 2002. Rose was blessed with a ministry in life- caring for her son, Terry. The two shared many hours caring for their home and the gardens around it. Her favorite flower was her namesake- the rose. Left to cherish her memory are her husband: Ray Schult; children: Glenn Moore and Alfred (Tami) Moore; grandchildren: Joe and Scott Moore; many great-grandchildren; and one sister, Linda Bascom, of Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and one son, Terry Lee Moore.
