Roxanne Fisher-Dameron, 57, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2014, at the funeral home in Marshalltown. Memorials may be directed to the family. Roxanne Fisher was born at Evangelical Hospital in Marshalltown, Iowa on March 27, 1956; she was the daughter of Donald and Marie (Morden) Fisher. Roxanne received her high school diploma in Marshalltown and went on to receive her LPN Degree from Marshalltown Community College. Roxanne was united in marriage to Craig Spencer and they divorced, remarrying Tony Dameron and they later divorced. She loved being a nurse and had worked in several area Nursing Homes. Roxanne loved being on her computer, enjoyed music, decorating her home, crafts and old movies. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Jennifer Fisher of Des Moines, Iowa, Tara Spencer of Alabama, Justin Spencer of Marshalltown, Iowa, and Jermaine Spencer of Tama, Iowa. Mother, Marie, Grandchildren: Natoshia, Dedrikk, Tatianna, Deondre, Julian, Omar, Ivan, Tahlia, Aysa and Alana. Great-grandchildren: Carter, Aria and Nadia. Siblings: Lloyd Fisher, Corrine Fisher, Ramona Verdinez all of Marshalltown, and Jay of Stanhope, Iowa and sister-in-laws, Mary Roberts and Debra Fisher. Nieces and Nephews: Kathy, Sierra, Rueben, Keenan and Dayjiene. In death Roxanne rejoins her father Donald, nephew, Sergio Verdinez and her grandparents.
