Ryan Eldridge

Ryan Eldridge, 17, of State Center, died Sunday, July 19th, at the Mercy Hospital in Mason City. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 23rd, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. He will be laid to rest in the Eden Cemetery at Rhodes. Born on March 24th, 1992, in Des Moines, he was the son of Scott and Angie (Weaver) Eldridge. Ryan was beginning his junior year at the West Marshall High School this fall. He will be fondly remembered for his love of family and friends, his dogs Sunny and Sassy, the outdoors, time spent at Clear Lake, cars and truck pulls. He was a meat and potatoes kind of guy but also liked spicy beef jerky and dill pickles. Ryan loved celebrations with friends and family. He and his Big smile will be greatly missed! Left to cherish his memory are his dad, Scott Eldridge (Jody Johnson) of State Center, mom Angie Eldridge (Bo Viers) of Maxwell, his grandparents- Howard and Pam Eldridge of State Center and Glenna and Jim Wickersham of Rhodes, aunts/uncles, cousins, great-grandparents: Goldie Eldridge of Rhodes, Bill Huff of Marshalltown and Lucy Scott of State Center as well as a host of friends. In death he has rejoined his grandfather Jim Weaver, great-grandma Wilma Huff, great-grandpas Howard Eldridge, Sr. and Jim Scott and great-grandparents Elmer and Gladys Weaver.
