Salvador Chava Yepez Hernandez, 37, of Marshalltown, died Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009, from injuries sustained in a car accident in Story County.Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 8th, 2009, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. In December of 2002, Salvador married Blanca Sanchez in Mexico.Chava worked construction for Absolute Concrete in Ames. He enjoyed cleaning his truck, mechanic work, watching soccer, and watching baseball. He would be very happy that the New York Yankees won the 2009 World Series. Surviving Chava are his wife, Blanca, of Marshalltown; his parents, Salvador and Maria Yepez of Marshalltown; his brothers, Jose, Thomas, and Aurelio; his sisters, Maria and Dolores; and his grandmother, Maria Hilaria of Mexico.In death, he has rejoined his sister, Maria Trinidad; and his grandparents, Thomas Hernandez, Jose Yepez, and Maria Trinidad.
