Sandra Fetters

Sandra Jean Fetters, 81, of Marshalltown, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Southridge Nursing and Rehab in Marshalltown.

Funeral services for Sandra will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Visitation will take place on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family. Sandra Jean Swearingen was born on February 17, 1942. She was the daughter to Howard and Ruby (Fitzgerald) Swearingen. Sandra was united in marriage to Carroll E. Fetters on June 1, 1988 in Marshalltown. She retired in 2020 from Lenihan School where she worked in the kitchen. Sandra loved anything Elvis related. She was a member of the TOPS 1243 group in Marshalltown.

Sandra is survived by her children: Michael Pickett of Marshalltown, Phil (Lyn) Pickett of Marshalltown and Ron Pickett of Choctaw, Oklahoma. She is also survived by several step children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her sister: Kathy Wood of Marshalltown.

Sandra is preceded in death by her husband, Carroll, parents: Howard and Ruby and her sister-in-law: Laurie Pickett.
