Sandra Lee Marvin-Smith, 63, of Marshalltown, IA passed away on November 14, 2022 at UnityPoint Health - Marshalltown.

Per the wishes of Sandra and her family, cremation rites have been accorded. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate her life on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Sandra was born on August 31, 1959 to Bernard and Betty (Flynn) Marvin in Grinnell, Iowa. She graduated from South Tama High School with the class of 1977. She was blessed to have spent the last 32 years with the love of her life, Roger Smith. They were united in marriage on July 6, 2016 in Marshalltown. Together the couple made their home in Marshalltown, where they enjoyed spending time with family. She had a big heart, always willing to help anyone who needed it and took in dozens of "adopted sons" over the years.

Left to cherish Sandra's memory is her beloved husband, Roger Smith; her children: Stacey Sanders (Edward Murray) of Marshalltown and Robert "Bobby" Sanders of Marshalltown; grandchildren: Emily, Savannah, Jayden, Alex, Tyler, April and Derek; her siblings: Judie (Don) Curtiss of Lee’s Summit, MO, William Barker of Montezuma, IA, Chuck (Donna) Barker of Marshalltown, Dan Baker of Iowa, Steve (Kathy) Barker of Kansas City, MO and Lori Snider of Marshalltown; numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved dog.

Sandra is preceded in death by her granddaughter in infancy Vada, her parents Bernard and Betty and her brother Mike Barker.
