Sandra "Sandy" Crowley

Sandra (Sandy) Sue Crowley, 79, of Marshalltown, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Cremation rites have been accorded and there are currently no formal services scheduled at this time. Memorials can be made to the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown. Sandra (Sandy) Sue Baker was born on August 29, 1941 in Winterset, Iowa to Marcy and Mae Allen Baker. She received her Registered Nursing Degree from the Marshalltown Evangelical School of Nursing. Sandy had worked as a registered nurse at the Marshalltown Hospital and later in life continued her profession with Southridge Nursing Home and the Iowa River Hospice Home. After retirement, Sandy worked at Lowe’s Flowers. Sandy was united in marriage to Don Crowley on August 9, 1962 in Marshalltown. She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and many friends. She was also a dog lover and fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes. Sandy is survived by her husband Don Crowley; children: Jim (Julia) Crowley, John (fiancé Lesli Hanlin) Crowley; grandchildren: Caroline, Benjamin, Olivia and Greyson and siblings: Carl Baker and family, Kara Knisely and family and Debbie Baker.
