Sharon Kay Hensley

Sharon Kay Hensley, age 73, of Marshalltown, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at the Iowa River Hospice Home.

Per Sharon’s wishes, cremation rites have taken place. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service.

Sharon was born on March 12, 1951, in Marshalltown, the daughter of Clifford and Bonnie (Lukehart) Hensley. She worked at Mid Iowa Workshop for many years.

Sharon enjoyed crafting such as painting, playing board and card games, and loved listening to gospel music.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Phillip Tiger in 2005. She is survived by her children, Priscilla Hensley and Fred Tiger, both of Tama; grandchildren, JoAnn Steen and Roger Johnson Jr.; great – grandchildren, Justice Johnson and Brooklyn Steen; and her sister, Ina Deahl.
