Sharon Krosch

Sharon Krosch , 56, of rural Marshalltown passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Israel Hospice Home in Ames, Iowa, with her loving husband Mike and her mother Colleenby her side.A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 23, 2012 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Phone 641-844-1234.Sharon Michaeline Baldassini was born in San Diego, California. She was the daughter of Kelley and Colleen(Clancy) Baldassini. Sharon had attended school in the area of her birth graduating from Helix High School in San Diego with the class of 1974. She graduated from college with an Associate of Arts as Sigma Cum Laude. On November 23, 1996 Sharon was united in marriage to Michael Krosch in Las Vega, Nevada. She had resided in Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas, Nevada. Most recently in Illinois and for the last 3 years rural Marshalltown. Sharon had worked in the grocery business for a number of years and also been a teachers aide. Since living in Marshalltown, she had been a member and secretary of the Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center Ladies Auxiliary. Sharon was a very talented and creative person. She loved to sew, quilt, knit, paint, outdoor gardening and always enjoyed her computer. She also loved people, swimming, boating, fishing, camping and in her earlier years, hiking. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 16 years, Michael, his family, her mother, Colleen Baldassini, a brother, Shannon Michael Baldassinni and many nieces and nephews.In heaven Sharon rejoins her father, Kelley.
