Sharon Ann Meyer

Sharon Ann Meyer (67) of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on October 2nd, 2015, at the State Center Nursing and Rehab Center. A memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 10th, at 10:30 a.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the State Center Nursing and Rehab Center. Sharon Ann Richeson was born on February 21st, 1948, to Ralph Richeson and Helen Miltenberger in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was raised and educated in the Marshalltown school district, graduating with the class of 1966. Later in life, Sharon and Robert Meyer were united in marriage, and together they made their home in Rhodes, Iowa. On February 20th, 1998, Robert passed away. In 2012, Sharon moved to Marshalltown. She was employed as a nurse at the Marshall County Care facility, in Marshalltown, until her retirement in 1982. She was a contributor to the Rhodes Tribune and the Rhodes historical society. She loved photography, sports, music, crafts and decorating. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Joe (Kristen) Meyer, Heath (Kimberly) Meyer, Grandchilden; Robert and Alex. In death, Sharon rejoins her parents; Ralph and Helen, Husband; Robert, siblings; Ron Richeson, Barbra Dalaba, Helen Richeson.
