Sharon Miller

Sharon Miller, 73, of Marshalltown passed away at Allen Hospital on Thursday, April 11, 2019.    A visitation will be held for Sharon on Thursday, April 18th from 3-5 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Sharon and her family.    Sharon Kay Manifold was born on April 21, 1945 to parents Paul and Jennie (Freerks) Manifold in Clarksville, Iowa. She was married and had a daughter and son. She was later divorced. She worked in the Marshalltown Community School District on the custodial staff as well as working at Meskwaki on the buffet line. In her free time, you would often find her working on a crochet or quilting project, baking, gardening, camping, fishing, and spending time with her family. She loved going to her family reunions to see everybody.    She is survived by her daughter Jodie Jordan; grandchildren Faron (Candelario) Rodriguez-Acosta, Jacob, Devin, and Jace Jordan; great- grandchildren Sophia Rodriguez-Acosta, Rayleigh and Jillian Jordan; her twin sister Karen Counts, Donna Voss, Sandra Edler, Pauline D’Amore, Jeanne Weinert, brother Doug Manifold; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.    In death, she rejoins her parents Paul and Jennie; her son Tom who passed away August 17, 2018; sister Cindy Janssen; brothers Don Manifold and Jim Freerks; step mother Tena; and son-in-law Doug Jordan.
