Sherryl Davis Antle, age 79 of Grundy Center, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Creekside Living under the care of Cedar Valley Hospice.
Born Sherryl Lynn Heady on May 15, 1946 at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center, the daughter of Wendell Conda and Marjorie Carolyn (Wymore) Heady. She graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1964. She later went back to school at Indian Hills Community College.
Sherryl worked in the medical records department and as a transcriber at Iowa Methodist, Newton Medical Center, and UnityPoint Health - Marshalltown Hospital.
On August 17, 1991, Sherryl was united in marriage with Harold Antle at the First Baptist Church in Des Moines. They resided in the rural LeGrand area.
Sherryl did not have many hobbies, but she did enjoy knitting, reading, and crocheting. She enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren, especially picnics. Most of her time was spent on the motorcycle with Harold. In retirement, they enjoyed being a part of a trike club, participating in scavenger hunts and taking countless road trips.
In death, Sherryl is reunited with her parents: Wendell and Marjorie Heady; her husband, Harold, who passed away in 2016; her infant son, Dathan Conda; and her brother, Gordon Heady. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Dawna (Kevin) Coffland, Dayna Smith, and Danielle Good; grandchildren: Riley, Abigail, Isaiah, Joshua, Justin, Rabeka, Hanna, and Ruger; and seven great-grandchildren.
Per Sherryl and her family’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A family-led celebration of Sheryl’s life is tentatively scheduled for June 13th. Memorial donations may be directed to the American Heart Association.
