Sheryl Ann Trumbo

Sheryl Ann Trumbo, 58, of Marshalltown, Iowa, went home at Mercy of Hospice in Johnston, Iowa, on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Sheryl was born December 31, 1959 in Iowa City, IA to Barbara Jeane Wilder.  She attended Marshalltown school system and was employed and retired from the Iowa Veterans Home.  Sheryl enjoyed fishing, shopping and going out to eat with her daughter, casino, and especially spending time with family and most definitely being with her grandmother Iver Jeane and her grandkids.  Sheryl united in marriage with Michael Maxwell and then later the two divorced.  Left to cherish in her memory is her mother: Barbara Wilder; children: Thailyn (Widgett) Washington and Jaramie Trumbo; grandson’s: De’Quan, De’AnDre, Thomas, Tre’van, Romell, Tyrell, Jordan, Jaramiah and Tiegon; granddaughter’s: Talia, She’lyn and Tenisha; great-grandchildren: Thalianna and Gia; aunt and uncle: Denise and Willie Andrews; uncle: Manuel Bailey and several cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her twin son: Cortez James Trumbo; grandparents: Manuel and Iver Jeane Bailey; uncle: Edward Bailey and father: Ralph Trumbo.
