Shirley Levings

Shirley A. Levings, 78, of Sarasota, FL, former Marshalltown resident, died Friday evening, June 26th, in Sarasota, Florida. Before locating to Sarasota, she had a lengthy and distinguished real estate career. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 13th, at St. Henrys Catholic Church. She served our country honorably in the Korean War, stationed State side and in Germany. Shirley was a partner in the Levings-Priborsky Real Estate Firm and served on the Board of Directors for MACH (now the MMSC), and as President of the Marshalltown Realtors. Miss Levings received many awards and was active in her community. She is survived by her brother, H.R. (Elizabeth) Levings of St. Paul, MN, sister Patty (Joseph) Moyer of Sarasota, FL., and many nieces and nephews
