Stacie Scovill

Stacie Scovill, 42, of Marshalltown, Iowa died Sunday, October 28, 2012, at her home.Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Stacie was born September 2, 1970 in Marshalltown, Iowa at Marshalltown Medical Surgical Center, daughter of Robert and Judy (Lacina) Kent. Stacie was raised and educated in the Marshalltown school district graduating from Marshalltown High School in 1989. After graduating high school, Stacie went on to get her CNA license. Stacie was united in marriage to Jack Scovill on December 27, 1988, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was employed at the Iowa Veterans Home for 10 years and her most recent job was at Haleys grocery store. Stacie loved spending time with her family as well as cooking and playing bingo at the casino. She is survived by her husband, Jack Scovill; her mother, Judy Kent; her children: Brandon Scovill, 23, Dillon Scovill, 14; two sisters: Tina (Brandon) Dutton, Dana (Kelly) Leohr; and two brothers: Troy (Cindy) Kent, Bob Kent and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Kent and both Maternal and Paternal grandparents.
