Stanley E. Eggers, 44, of Marshalltown, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Southridge Specialty Care in Marshalltown.

Stanley Eggers was born on February 15, 1978 in Marshalltown to Harry and Martha (Bakke) Eggers. He graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1997. He was an active participant of the CIRSI Special Focus program until he was moved into specialized care. Stanley was a friend to everyone he met and knew. He enjoyed listening to all kinds of music and always had a walkman or travel radio to listen with, he liked watching television, coloring, collecting stickers and keys. He was also known by many as “Stan”, “Stan the man” or Bub/Bubba to his close family!

Stanley is survived by his mother, Martha. Siblings: Erick (Jessica) Eggers of State Center and Jennifer (Kevin) Sharp of Marshalltown. He is also survived by five nephews and nieces and his God-parents: Brad and Kathy Pennington. Stanley is preceded in death by his father: Harry Eggers and grandparents: Earl and Mary (Bonnie) Eggers and Richard (Dick) and Charlene Bakke. He is also preceded in death by several aunts and uncles, his dogs: “PJ” and “Taz” and many family cats.
