Stephen Krabbe

Stephen Carl Krabbe, 61, passed away in the comfort of his home on March 19, 2016. A public visitation will be held on Wednesday March 23, 2016 at the Best Western Regency inn from 5 7:00p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday March 24, 2016 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m., the Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Stephen and his family. Stephen was born on July 24, 1954, in Council Bluffs, Iowa; to the proud parents of Carl and Corinne (Crowell) Krabbe. After graduating high school he attended Iowa State University. He was a very proud member of the Cyclone Nation cheering for his team any chance he could get. In 1979 Stephen was united in marriage to Heidi Cessford. The couple went on to raise two boys Ryan and Kyle. Stephen was an avid pilot and continued to have a passion for flying later in life. Stephen also took pride in restoring classic Corvettes, and could often be found tinkering in the garage. Left to cherish Stephens memories are his children Ryan (Nikki) Krabbe granddaughter Hazel, and Kyle (Caity) Krabbe, sister Criss Spinola, and Father Carl. He is preceded in death by his mother Corinne and sister Barb Weinz.
