Steven Griego

Steven Ray Griego, 35, of Grinnell, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 at Grinnell Regional Medical Center in Grinnell. A celebration of life for Steven will be held by the family on Monday, May 30, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Riverview Park. Memorials may be directed to the family. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Steven and his family. Steven Griego was born on May 15, 1981 in Greeley, Colorado to Joe Sr. and Micki Davis Griego. Steven was united in marriage on July 29, 2015 to Vicki Sheets in Grinnell. Steven had worked doing dry wall and painting. He enjoyed to fish, listen to music, play pool, BBQ and eat as well as spend time with his children and family. Steven is survived by his wife, Vicki. Children: Tiera and Daysen Griego and Dylan Sheets. Siblings: Christinia (Eric) Griego, Joe (Valerie) Griego Jr., Timothy (Elizabeth) Griego, Janny (Donnie) Simpson, Jody (David) McGlothin, Jayde Mulholland and Jacki Davis. Father: Joe Griego Sr. Step Mother: Donetta Griego as well as many nieces and nephews. Steven is preceded in death by his mother Micki and brother Shannon Santee.
