He was educated in the Kellogg and Newton areas.Steven has resided in Kellogg, Newton, Pella, Marshalltown, Grinnell, and Conrad. He was employed by Delongs Sportsware in Grinnell, Farm Hand Inc. in Grinnell, Vermeer in Pella, and Midwest Manufacturing in Kellogg. He enjoyed going fishing.Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Linda Olson of Kellogg and Gloria Selvog of Marshalltown, as well as his nieces, Christina Propst and Shelly Dodd.In death he has rejoined his parents, Jesse and Shirley, and an infant brother Michael.
