Steven R. Miller, 59, of Grinnell, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024, at the Iowa River Hospice Home surrounded by his family.

A graveside service is scheduled for April 13, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Timber Creek Cemetery in Marshalltown. Following the burial, friends and family are invited to attend a luncheon at Bud Miller's place, located at 2615 Zeller Ave. Marshalltown, Iowa 50158.  Memorials may be directed to the family for designation at a later date. Steven R. Miller was born on May 20, 1964, in Marshalltown. He was the son to Allen and Joan (Moore) Miller. Steve graduated from LeGrand LDF High School and went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. as an Aircraft Navigation Systems Technician. He had worked for Montezuma Manufacturing as a welder and Donaldson in Grinnell. Steve was a member of the Montezuma American Legion Post 169 and the Poweshiek Sportsman Association. Steve enjoyed going fishing and hunting with his brittany spaniel: Bonnie and was an avid dog lover.

Steven is survived by his siblings: Tina Miller of Crossville, Tennessee, Francine (Jeff) Cox of Tama and Bud (Trisha) Miller of Marshalltown. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Paige and Kyle Carnahan, Brooke Miller and great-niece: Ivy Carnahan.

Steven is preceded in death by his parents: Allen and Joan; grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
