Steven Steve Sanders, 56, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Central Iowa Healthcare. Following Steves wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside services for Steve will be held at 11:00 a.m. on May 13, 2017 at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens by his family. Memorial contributions may be directed in Steves name to his family. Steven Sanders was born on October 22, 1960 in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Richard and Sandra (Cummings) Sanders. He was raised and educated in the Marshalltown School District where he obtained his G.E.D. Steve was united in marriage to Karri Chambers in Marshalltown, but the two later divorced. He was a hardworking man, dedicating his working years at Lennox. Steve enjoyed life and his love for his children and grandchildren. He really enjoyed mowing the lawn or being out on the water fishing. Steve was well known for his kind heart. Left to cherish his memory are his children: Stacey, Bobbie, Samantha and Tyler; grandchildren: Jaden, Savannah, Emily, Derrick, Tyler, Alex, Phoebe, Mya, Morgan, Myla and Charlee; siblings: Mark (Joyce) Sanders, Cathy (Tim) Johnson, Denise (Brian) Valentine and LeAnn Sanders. He is preceded in death by his parents: Richard and Sandy Sanders; both sets of grandparents: Leonard and Catherine Sanders as well as Roy and Irene Cummings.
