Steven Streets Jr.

Heaven shines a little brighter as Steven Streets Jr., age 8, of Melbourne, is greeting all the angels after his unexpected passing on August 15, 2021 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services for Steven will take place on Sunday, August 22 at 2:00 P.M. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Marshalltown. Friends and family are also invited to attend a visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Sunday prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for later designation. Steven was born on August 18, 2012 in Marshalltown and had completed third grade at West Marshall Elementary School. He was a light in a dark world, a friend to all and a stranger to none. Steven was always smiling and saying hello to everyone he met. He absolutely loved being outside: fishing, camping, riding his bike and climbing trees. Steven was all boy and always busy. He loved spending time with his friends and his big family. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. Those left to cherish his memory are his dad, Steven Streets Sr. and step-mom, Cheri; his sisters: Kimberly, Clarissa, Mackenzie, Elizabeth, Sadie, Truly, Teri, Danielle, Stephanie, Cara and Laura; numerous nieces and nephews; his grandma, Donna Robbins-Streets and many aunts, uncles and cousins. In death, Steven is reunited with his sister, Megan; his grandpa, John W. Streets and great-grandparents, Betty and Herman Robbins.
