Steven Weber

Steven A. Weber, 64, of Garwin, Iowa, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016, in the comfort of his own home, with his loving family by his side. Following Steves wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. There will not be any public services at this time. The family is planning to have a private graveside service for Steve at a later date. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Steve and his family. Steven A. Weber was born in 1952, the son of Joseph and Inez (Baker) Weber. He was raised and educated in the Garwin school district, graduating from GMG High School. In 1979, Steve was united in marriage to Mary White, in Marshall County. Steve was a hardworking man, dedicating 42 years of his life with Lenox Industries. He was a proud member of the UAW. Steve had a passion for playing games with his family, fishing, traveling, amusement parks and loved working with his hands to build just about anything. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Mary Weber; children: Jeff (Cimber) Strayer, Danielle (Jason) Stokely, Sarah (Travis) Harrelson, Jake (Tony) Weber and Jessica Inman; grandchildren: Tyson and Austin Strayer, Jazmen and Jevan Stokely, Joshua and Xavier Harrelson, Trent and Angela Inman; siblings: Dennis, Barb, Bernita and Beth. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Faith Lynn; parents: Joseph and Inez Weber; brothers: Joseph Weber and Jeremy Weber.
