Susan C Tychsen, 54, of Tama, Iowa, passed away on June 24, 2013 at the Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. Cremation rights have been accorded and private family services were held at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. She was the daughter of Joe and Donna Cross Hadsall. Susan attended school in the Marshalltown Community School District, graduating with the class of 1977. She then attended Marshalltown Community College for Medical Transcription. On October 25, 1991, she married David Tychsen. Susan was employed with Key Strokes for over ten years as a Medical Transcriptionist. In her free time; Susan enjoyed cross stitching, reading, traveling, collecting John Deere tractors and Harley Davidson memorabilia and loved animals. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of twenty two years; David. Children: Jody Arment of Laurel, Andrew Arment of Marshalltown, Alissa (Bill) Leedom of Cedar Falls and Vanessa (Derek) Jongma of Marshalltown. Grandchildren: Sarah Leedom, Dalamar Leedom, Taija Leedom, Dakota Ehrhardt, Terren Ehrhardt, Xavier Leedom, Izaiah-Slade Warnell, Ava Jongma and Axton-Orion Jongma. Sisters: Debbie (Steve) Lindeman, Diana (Larry) Couch and Shelley (Wes) Etter, nephew Brian Tychsen, father in law Ted Tychsen Sr and brother in law Ted Tychsen Jr. In death, she rejoins her son Charlie Arment, mother in law Betty Tychsen, maternal and fraternal grandparents and many other relatives.
