Tamara L. Eygabroad, age 70, of Eldora, Iowa passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025 surrounded by her loving family at the Iowa River Hospice House in Marshalltown.

Per Tamara and her family’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. No formal services have been scheduled at this time. Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation. Tamara Lea Eygabroad was born on August 22, 1955, in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was the daughter of Anneus and Pearlie (Ellison) Eygabroad. Tamara attended Marshalltown High School and graduated with the class of 1973. She continued her education at the College of the Redwoods in Eureka, California, graduating as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). During her working career, Tamara worked at various units throughout the Marshalltown Hospital. These included the ER, OB-GYN, and others. Tamara later transitioned into private practice and worked for various nursing homes throughout the state of Iowa until her retirement in 2018.

She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church, where she was actively involved in various bible studies and the youth ministry. Tamara was also a well-known cat lover. She will be dearly missed by her fur babies Doja and Marcie. In her free time, Tamara enjoyed watching daytime television, chatting on the phone with her besties, but most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons: David (Jennifer) Mull and Daniel (Emily Elliott) Mull; her grandchildren Andrew, Gemma, and Grace Mull; various cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

Tamara is preceded in death by her parents: Anneus and Pearlie; her brothers: Patrick, Steven, and Bradlie Eygabroad; and her sister Deatra Barnes.
