Tamera (Spencer) Frazier, 53, of Des Moines (formally of Marshalltown) passed away at Home on Sunday, August 19, 2018. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 24, 2018, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 when the service starts. Tamera Jane Spencer was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on September 2, 1964. She was the daughter of David Spencer and Charlotte (Summers) Douglas. She graduated from Dexfield High School in 1983 and received her Journalism Degree from Iowa State University in 1989. Tamme was united in marriage to David Frazier and they were blessed with two daughters, Heather and Natasha. She previously worked as a DJ for Iowa State; which was her favorite job, Telemarketing and as a secretary at Farm Bureau. Tamme loved to fish - especially at night, making dream catchers, various crafts, music, but most of all her grandkids. Left to cherish Tamme’s memory are her daughters: Heather (Nickolas) and Natasha (Kyle) of Marshalltown; mother: Charlotte (Dave) Douglas of Ankeny; step-mom: Marilyn Spencer of Winterset; grandbabies: Nickolas and Emma Weatherly and Amiya Jackson; siblings: Tom (LaVonne) Spencer of Altoona , Deb (Craig) Hubby of Peru, Ben (Tiffany) Spencer of Winterset and step-sister: Becky (Kevin) Eaton of Peru, along with several nieces and nephews. In death, Tamme rejoins her father, David Spencer; granddaughter, Maylea Rose and sister-in-law Deb Weuve.
