Tereasa Marie Edwards

Tereasa Edwards, age 57 of Marshalltown, passed away at the Iowa River Hospice House on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

Tereasa Marie Edwards was born on June 18, 1967, the youngest of four children born to Bill Alfred Edwards Sr. and Sandra Kay (Miller) Edwards. She graduated from Marshalltown Public Schools.

Tereasa had a fierce personality and a big heart. She loved spending time with her family and playing with her nieces and nephews. Tereasa loved watching her cooking shows, getting her nails done, and going on car rides. During her time at Southridge Specialty Care, she enjoyed puzzles, coloring, playing BINGO and visiting her friend, Richard.

Tereasa was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Sr. and Sandy; sister, Mel Schmidt; and brother, Allen Ray Miller. She is survived by her brother, Billy Edwards Jr. of Marshalltown; numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Richard.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. following visitation. Burial will be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the family.
