Teresa Lynn Curley, 58, of Marshalltown, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, surrounded by her loving family.  Funeral services for Teresa will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Teresa and her family.  Teresa Baker was born on December 14, 1959 at St Thomas Hospital in Marshalltown to Darrel E. and Peggy (Riggins) Baker. On June 13, 1993, Teresa was united in marriage to Daniel Curley at the First United Methodist Church in Marshalltown. Teresa had been a CNA for Marshalltown Manor, Grandview Heights and the Iowa River Hospice Home. She also had worked at the 13th Street Mini Mart and Haley’s. Teresa enjoyed fishing as well as going on car rides with Daniel on the gravel roads through Gladbrook to Quarry and back to Marshalltown, but may have encountered a few flat tires on their journey together. She also enjoyed watching wrestling, baking (especially pumpkin bars with her family) and going to the casino. Above all else, Teresa enjoyed the time spent with her loving family, especially her grandchildren and great-nephews.  Teresa is survived by her husband of 24 years, Daniel. Children: Kathleen Baker of Des Moines, Danielle (Warren) Simmons of Marshalltown and Jacob (Cassie) Baker of Indianola. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Zaria, Kairi and Peyton as well as her siblings; Kathy (Mike) Davis of Albion, Sandra Baker of Marshalltown, Cheryl Kendrick of Texas, Darrel (Shelley) Baker of Bondurant and Chris (Scott) Buckley of Waukee as well as her special niece Megan (Nolan) McCarthy of Waukee, great nephews; Eamonn, Kellen and Ronan and her mother in law Frieda Reno of Marshalltown.  Teresa is preceded in death by her parents, Darrel and Peggy, grandson Charlie Baker and her favorite german shepherds; Sampson, Simba and Isabella.
