Ph. 641-844-1234. Born on July 22nd, 1950, in Harmony, Minnesota, he was the son of Marvin and Helen (Hayle) Grant. He joined his sister Pat who has continued to be his support through medical challenges over many years. Terry graduated from the Harmony High Schools class of 1968. On April 3rd, 1971, in Greenleafton, MN, he was united in marriage to Kathy Davis. They made their home in Blue Earth and moved to the central Iowa area in 1996 upon transfer with Thermogas. Terry served faithfully with Thermogas and currently as energy manager for East Central Iowa Co-Op in Waterloo. His career has spanned 39 years. Terry enjoyed time with his family (especially the grandkids), fishing, hunting, and gardening and truly wanted to return to the mountains he fell in love with in Colorado. Left to cherish his memory are Kathy, his loving wife of 43 years, four sons: Christopher (Sherrie) Grant of Albany, IL, Benjamin (Dana) Grant of Fulton, IL, Adam (Marci) Grant of Gilman and Jordan Grant of LeGrand, nine precious grandchildren- Sam, Cole, Katie, Collin, Bryce, Allison, Kaleb, Kaden and Bailey, his sister Patty Jo (Dale) Erickson of Rochester, MN, and two gentlemen that were as close as family as you can get- Jimmi Gustafson and Brandon Gray. Jimmi Gustafson is a family friend who became a hero to the entire Grant clan when he donated one of his kidneys a year ago to Terry, who had battled kidney disease for several years. His extra year of life came because of him. In death he rejoined his parents.
