Terry Melvin Haskell

April 8, 1966 — July 10, 2018

Terry Haskell, 52, lovingly known as Spike when younger, passed from this earthly life suddenly on the evening of Tuesday, July 10th, at the Unity Point Marshalltown ER.           Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 17th, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in the Center School Cemetery near a tree that his wife Ann so loved. Memorials may be directed to his family. For condolences, please visit www.mitchellfh.com . Ph. 641-844-1234.           Terry was born on April 8th, 1966, in Marshalltown, to Clifford and JoyLayne (Cox) Haskell. He graduated from the Marshalltown High School in 1986.           On September 29th, 2000, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Annie Ruth Martin, in Marshalltown. They made Marshalltown their home all of their married lives. Terry worked part-time for CIRSI in the office.           It was a good day when AC/DC or Michael Jackson was on the radio or Clint Eastwood was on TV. He liked dancing with Annie, going out to eat, sitting outside, listening to the police scanner and was an Iowa Hawkeye Fan.           Left to cherish his memory are Annie, his loving wife of nearly 18 years, his mother JoyLayne Haskell of Kuwait (formerly Marshalltown); siblings- Tammie Joy Haskell of Kuwait, Carol Jean Ray of Albion and James Robert Haskell of State Center and his family at CIRSI.           In death, Terry rejoined his dad, Clifford Melvin Haskell.
